[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – six – year old Lester Cummings is nursing a gunshot wound to his face following a robbery at his No. 8 Village, West Coast Berbice home last night, Wednesday, November 26.
According to a police report, at about 23:00 hrs Cummings was aroused by a man, who was armed with a handgun. The gunman demanded cash and jewellery, during which he discharged a round, hitting Cummings in his face.
The gunman escaped and Cummings has been admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital for medical treatment.
