By Leroy Smith[www.inewsguyana.com] – A businessman was robbed of $2.5M on Monday, March 09 as he was about to transact business with the Guyoil Distribution Depot at Providence, East Bank Demerara.
iNews was told that the man who hails from the West Bank of Demerara was reportedly entering the compound to pay for a supply of fuel when he was robbed.
It is unclear how many persons were involved in the crime or how they made good their escape.
