Bandits hit electronic store on the Essequibo Coast

A businessman is now left counting his losses after bandits stormed his electronic store on Monday (September 2, 2019).

DJ’s Electronic Store, located at Columbia on the Essequibo Coast, was broken into during the wee hours.

A quantity of car audio systems and over $700,000 in cash were stolen.

Reports are that the perpetrators gained entry by breaking a window.

Three persons have been arrested as the investigation continues.
