[www.inewsguyana.com] – A man is now dead after he was struck down by an allegedly drunk motorcyclist at Line Path, Skeldon Corentyne on Saturday June 06.
According to a police statement, the man has so far been identified as “Ram” who resides at Line Path.
Police investigations have revealed that Ram attempted to cross the public road and was struck down by a motor cycle. He was pronounced Dead on Arrival at the Skeldon Hospital.
Police say the rider of the motor cycle was found to be above the legal limit in terms of the consumption of alcohol and also received injuries from the accident.
The man has been admitted to the Skeldon Hospital where he is under police guard.
