Albouystown Businessman shot during robbery

future-crime-gun[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police say at about 22:30 hours last night (Friday August 1), businessman Joel Sullivan of James Street, Albouystown was in the process of closing his business place at James Street when he was attacked by a man armed with a firearm. The gunman demanded his valuables.

However, Sullivan, 35, put up a resistance and was shot and injured to his chest by the armed man who escaped.

Sullivan has been admitted to hospital for medical treatment.

Investigations are ongoing.
