Guyana has recorded 82 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total positives detected to date to 66,588.
There are 22 persons in institutional isolation, two persons in the ICU, 894 in home isolation, and two in institutional quarantine.
Recoveries stand at 64,422 while the death toll is 1,248.
