Guyana has recorded eight new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total positives detected to date to 63,465.
All of the active cases are currently in home isolation, representing a total of 96 persons.
There are seven person in institutional quarantine, 1,228 deaths, and 62,141 recoveries.
