Eight persons are now homeless after a fire destroyed a house located at Canal Number One, West Bank Demerara (WBD).
According to information reaching INews, the fire started just after 15:00h today in the upper flat of the two-storey wooden house.
The entire building was destroyed in less than 30 minutes.
