[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Seven – year – old Grade Two girl of a popular city private school is reported to have taken a loaded firearm to school.
iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) was reliably informed that the weapon was discovered by another student who then brought it to the attention of a teacher.
It is not clear what action has been taken and whether the police have been informed, however irate and outraged parents are already calling for the student to be expelled and action taken against the parents.
When contacted today (Thursday, March 20) by iNews (www.inewsguyana.com), the Director would neither confirm nor reject the reports.
She however promised iNews (www.inewsguyana.com) an interview on Friday, March 21 to provide more information. Parents have urged for more stringent security measures at the institution.
