[www.inewsguyana.com] – The main access road which leads to the University of Guyana entrance has been resurfaced. This project was completed on Monday, July 13, and was executed by the Force Account Unit (FAU), which falls under the Ministry of Public Works.
The length of road resurfaced is 500 feet. In addition, the drains along the thoroughfare and the sidewalk were also cleaned. Further, a deteriorated section of the road in the Turkeyen Campus compound and the Cyril Potter College of Education (CPCE) road were also resurfaced and repaired respectively.
The rehabilitation works amounted to $7.2M. Prior to this project, the FAU resurfaced the roads leading to Sophia from UG and in Donkey City, Stabroek Market.
