54 – year – old man perishes in Essequibo accident

[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on Thursday, December 12 resulting in the death of a 54 – year – old pedestrian who has only been identified as Narine of Airy Hall, Essequibo Coast.

Investigations revealed that Narine was walking along the Airy Hall Public Road, when he was struck down by a motor lorry that was in the process of overtaking another vehicle.

He was admitted to the Suddie Public Hospital where he succumbed at about 04:30hrs Friday morning (December, 13).

Investigations are ongoing.
