[www.inewsguyana.com] – Forty – six – year old Byron Persaud is the country’s latest road fatality.
A police report has revealed that at approximately 20:25 hrs on Saturday August 01, Persaud of Vryheid’s Lust, East Coast Demerara, attempted to cross the roadway at Montrose when he was struck down by a motor vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital. The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
