Guyana has recorded 31 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total cases recorded to date to 8626.
There are six persons receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit while 28 persons are in institutional isolation. Four persons are in institutional quarantine while 371 are isolating at home.
The death toll now stands at 198 while the recoveries at 8024.
