Guyana has recorded 30 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the total positives detected to date to 71,035.
There are seven persons in the hospitals, three of whom are in the ICU while a total of 229 persons are isolating at home.
Recoveries stand at 69,518 and the death toll is 1,278.
