A 23-year-old woman of Meadow Brook Squatting Area, Georgetown has been arrested for the possession of a quantity of cannabis and ecstasy.
Keyola Daniels was arrested by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) following an intelligence-led operation conducted at her residence on Wednesday.
CANU said a search of the premises revealed several bags containing a quantity of cannabis, a rocklike substance suspected to be ecstasy, and two five-gallon buckets containing a cannabis-infused liquid substance.
The cannabis weighed 63.3 grams, the ecstasy weighted 1.82 grams while the cannabis infused liquid weighed 39.6 kilograms.
Daniels has since been charged and remanded to prison.
