Traffic ranks of Police Regional Division 4’C’ are investigating a fatal incident which occurred on Friday May 16th , 2025 at about 15:15 hours on Mon Repos Public Road, East Coast Demerara; involving motorcycle number unknown driven by Omari Nicolas (Deceased), Male Guyanese of Mixed Ancestry, age 20 years of lot 272 Meadowbrook Gardens, Georgetown.
Inquiries disclosed that the motorcyclist was proceeding east along the northern carriageway of the southern driving lane at an allegedly fast rate and in the process of doing a ‘willy’, lost control of the motorcycle and fell onto the road surface receiving injuries. The EMT was summoned to the scene, and he was pronounced dead.
The body was then picked up and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Mortuary, awaiting post mortem examination.
