The Ministry of Education extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Ms. Kevaun Sears, who served with distinction as Vice Principal of the Cyril Potter College of Education for many years.
Ms. Sears was not only a dedicated educator and administrator, but also a mentor whose impact shaped generations of teachers and students across Guyana. Minister of Education, Sonia Parag, remembers her as a former teacher at President’s College, whose guidance and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression.
On behalf of the Honourable Minister and the Ministry of Education, we express sincere sympathy to her family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched. May her legacy of service, leadership, and devotion to education continue to inspire.
