Anthony Omali Clarke, a 26-year-old Vendor of William Street Kitty, Georgetown, was arrested on May 21, 2025 and charged on Friday for the offence of Attempt to Commit a Felony, contrary to Section 36 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01.
Clarke is accused of committing the offence on Joshua Kumar, a 33-year-old Welder of ‘A’ Field South Sophia on May 18, 2025.
The accused appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court on Friday before Her Worship Magistrate Abigail Gibbs, where the charge was read to him and he pleaded guilty.
He was sentenced to one year’s imprisonment.
