After more than forty years of operation, Stabroek News has announced its closure effective March 15.
The newspaper made the announcement via its website today.
Stabroek News was founded in 1986 by attorney David de Caires, and together with his wife, Doreen de Caires. The newspaper became a daily in 1994.
