Sod turned for $2.6B Christianburg/Wismar Secondary School

The official sod-turning exercise

Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips, Minister of Education Priya Manickchand, and Public Works Minister Juan Edghill along with other officials turned the sod for the construction of the new $2.6B Christianburg/Wismar Secondary School in Linden.

A contract to the tune of US$12,821,592 was awarded to China Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Company to construct the new building with several modern amenities and departments.

The time frame for completion is 17 months.
