Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces President Dr Irfaan Ali today announced a one-month tax free bonus for members of the Disciplined Forces.
This translates to about $2.1 billion in disposable income to more than 13,000 members.
He made the announcement at the Annual Christmas Luncheon at Camp Stephenson.
In his address, the President recognised the efforts, courage and sacrifice of soldiers in protecting the country’s borders, safeguarding its territorial integrity, and upholding the nation’s sovereignty.
