The Guyana Police Force has commenced investigations into an alleged attack involving the host of the Jumps Travel Documentary YouTube channel, Antony D’Oliveira.
Based on reports received, the incident, which was captured on video and is currently in circulation, is being treated seriously by the police.
Acts of violence against any individual are unacceptable and contrary to the laws of Guyana and the values of safety, hospitality, and respect upheld by society.
Investigators are actively reviewing the video footage, conducting inquiries, and pursuing all available leads with the aim of identifying and apprehending the individual responsible, in accordance with the law.
Meanwhile, the Guyana Police Force extends sincere concern to D’Oliveira and reiterates its commitment to ensuring that Guyana remains a safe and welcoming destination for all visitors and residents.
