[www.inewsguyana.com] – The nude body of a male, which was found between the rocks of the Kitty Seawall in the vicinity of the 1823 monument on December 23 has been identified as 43 – year – old Avichand Lall Jagwant.
Relatives told iNews that the man, who is known as ‘Fish’ from Lusignan, East Coast Demerara was last seen on December 20 on the seawall at Ogle, East Coast Demerara.
iNews understands that the man usually provides security for boats in the area. The family is at a loss as to how the man met his demise and is hoping that a post mortem examination will provide the answer. The PME is expected to be conducted today.
iNews had reported that the man’s body was spotted by passersby, who informed the police. While the body was nude, there was a 3/4 blue pants a short distance away.
