Minibus conductor granted bail on Marijuana charge

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Minibus conductor, 38 – year – old Randy Norton was granted $50,000 bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry for the illegal possession of marijuana.

Norton of Campbellville, Housing Scheme, Georgetown, pleaded not guilty to the charge, which alleged that he had in his possession of 14 grammes of marijuana at Cornhill Street, Stabroek, Georgetown.

The prosecution did not object to bail.
