Finance Minister Dr Ashni Singh has announced that Old Age Pension will be increased from $41,000 to $46,000 per month, effective January 1, 2026.
Additionally, Old Age Pensioners will now benefit from a transportation grant of $20,000.
Dr Singh said these measures will see an annual transfer of over $54 billion being paid to 95,000 pensioners.
