The body of an unidentified man was moments ago fished out of a trench along Herstelling, New Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara.
INews understands that the significantly deteriorated remains was spotted floating in the water by residents in the area this morning (Tuesday) and the police were promptly alerted.
Investigators are presently at the scene.
