Police in Regional Division # 2 conducted an operation on Monday, February 9, 2026 between 11:15hrs and 11:45hrs at a residence in Tapakuma, Essequibo Coast, as part of an ongoing investigation.
During the search of the premises, one black bulletproof vest, one pair of handcuffs, one pair of foot shackles and one metal cap badge belonging to the Guyana Police Force were discovered.
A 27-year-old female was arrested and placed into custody pending further investigations.
Investigations are ongoing.
