[www.inewsguyana.com] – The second week of May has been targeted as the launch time for the 2014 edition of Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) Schools regional tournament.
The event which saw several postponements has managed to sort their schedule which had several clashes with the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF).
According to information reaching iNews (www.inewsguyana.com), the tournament is expected to commence at least a week after its launch.
Further indications show that the participation will not be hampered by the postponement of the tournament as teams are expected from basketball regions across the country.
Defending champions, Marian Academy will be back in action trying to hold off the talents in the teams like Kwakwani, , the University of Guyana (UG), Mackenzie High School, Port Mourant Training School and Linden Technical Institute.
