[www.inewsguyana.com] – A pensioner will soon find herself before the courts on trafficking charges after she was busted at the Ogle International Airport with cocaine and marijuana in her luggage on Sunday.
Police stated that at approximately 14:40 hrs, ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch arrested 60 – year – old Guyanese national who was an outgoing passenger at the Ogle Airport.
This was after 3 kilograms 826 grams of marijuana and 4 kilograms 612 grams of cocaine were found in her baggage.
Police say the elderly woman is in police custody and charges will be made shortly.
