[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Police Force on Saturday, August 15 drew the winning tickets from its raffle for its Police Officers Mess Committee.
The ceremony was done in the presence of senior and junior police ranks, including trainees from the Felix Austin Police Training School. The prizes included ten consolation prizes of $10,000, a stereo set as the 4th prize, one IPhone as the 3rd prize, one double door refrigerator as the 2nd prize and a 42’’ Flat Screen Television as the 1st prize.
Consolations prizes were won by holders of ticket numbers 19988, 06009, 07565, 08888, 13986, 06712, 21358, 24704, 0133 and 2367. The fourth prize of a stereo set was won by ticket holder 13783 while the 3rd prize was won by ticket holder 19833.
Holders of ticket numbers 15970 and 13855 won the 2nd and 1st prizes respectively. President of the Guyana Police Force Mess Committee, Assistant Commissioner of Police Clifton Hicken was on hand to witness the drawing of the winning tickets.
The Police Force expressed its appreciation to the members of the public and its ranks for taking part in the raffle as well as the business community for putting up the prizes.
