West Indies will face Zimbabwe and English County team Warwickshire in a series of Twenty20 matches as they prepare for the ICC World T20 Championship.
According to a WICB media release, the Windies are presently in United Arab Emirates for a camp before heading to India for the world tournament – to be played from March 8 to April 3.
They play against the Zimbabweans on Saturday and Monday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. These matches are not official T20 Internationals.
They will then face Warwickshire on Friday, March 4 and Sunday, March 6 at the ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai.
The West Indies are due to arrive in Kolkata on March 7 ahead of the tournament. They will have official warm-up matches against India on Thursday, March 10, and against Australia on Sunday, March 13.
West Indies have been drawn in Group 1 of the Super 10 stage where they will play alongside England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and one of the qualifiers from the first round.
