[www.inewsguyana.com] – Newly elected selection panel headed by Guyanese Clive Lloyd put together their first test squad of 13 members since being elected earlier this month.
However, the team remains practically unchanged as all members of the squad that faced New Zealand will return with the exception of Leon Johnson who was axed by the panel.
The team will have added eyes on them especially since Lloyd is viewed as one of, if the not the best captain in West Indies history.
The members of the squad are as follows: Denesh Ramdin (capt), Chris Gayle, Kraigg Brathwaite, Kirk Edwards, Darren Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Jermaine Blackwood, Kemar Roach, Jerome Taylor, Jason Holder, Shannon Gabriel, Sulieman Benn, Shane Shillingford.
The team will start their first test against Bangladesh on September 5 in St. Vincent.
