[www.inewsguyana.com] – The body of the woman who jumped off the Demerara Harbour Bridge has been recovered by officials from the Coast Guard and the Maritime Administration.
The woman jumped to her death today, Wednesday December 24 and her identity is not yet known. Her shoes and umbrella were found on the bridge.

It is more reason for a larger airport. This airline flies a 767-300/200 with limited slots at Jfk. The airline is struggling with its slots which leaves the only other option to have more competitors or larger aircraft. The airline don’t have a larger aircraft so the only other option is another competitor. Unfortunately the other airlines that wants to fly the route wants a larger airport with better connection. That means the opposition must support the construction of the airport. Technically it is the opposition that can be blamed for this airline failure because of their lack of interest in expanding guyana’s port of entry.
The govt should immediately withdraw the permission for this airline to fly to Guyana. It’s reputation is in tatters as far as the Guyana – JFK route is concerned. When those persons booked with them, they did so in good faith hoping to get to their intended destination in order to spend their Christmas with their friends and family. They should be compensated for inconvenience caused and be given a full refund. END IF STORY
