[www.inewsguyana.com] – iNews has been able to confirm that the third suspected bandit who managed to slip away from the police following the high-speed chase and robbery in Georgetown this morning is 19 – year – old Jeremy Jessemy of 51 West La Penitence, Georgetown.

The other two bandits who are now in police custody have been identified as 19 – year – old Simon Primo of 42 Pike Street, Sophia and 22 – year – old Devon Brown of T-3 12 North Ruimveldt.

Brown is said to be a Mason and his two accomplices are his labourers.

This news entity has also been able to confirm that the police were not able to recover any weapon or live rounds from the two apprehended bandits. The police have since visited the home of the third suspect who has gone into hiding.

Police were able to recover what is suspected to be stolen items in the vehicle the three were traveling in and which they used as their getaway car after committing their robbery on Sheriff Street. They were caught in Sophia, after crashing their getaway vehicle in a trench.

Reports indicated that it was Brown who was driving the car at the time of the high speed chase.​
