The father of two worked with Edward B Beharry’s Security firm. SPL employee, Mario Gohill was shot in the leg and is said to be in a stable condition at a City Hospital.
Gohill is reportedly an Indian National and worked as a Chemist at the company. According to Chief Executive Officer of SPL, Ramsay Ali, at around 18:45hrs, several men armed with guns stormed the building and disarmed the Security Guard before shooting him to death.
Ali said, “to the best of our knowledge we don’t know if anything was taken we are still investigating…well they tried to go upstairs where we have the cashier…we have some cameras and the policemen are looking at the cameras.”
One eyewitness said he saw about 10 men in a car and they were all wearing masks.
The dead man’s father told iNews that his son left in high spirits this afternoon to work the night shift. He added that his son’s death is a big blow to the family, since his [Stuart] wife is expecting a child.
