[www.inewsguyana.com] – A man who is thus far unidentified was shot while riding along a lonely street in Eping Avenue, Bel Air Georgetown.
Eyewitnesses told iNews that the man was riding his motorcycle when a car drove up and an occupant from the vehicle discharged a round hitting him to his ride side neck.
Meanwhile, there was another shooting in Eccles, East Bank Demerara which is being investigated by the police, while the police in C Division [East Coast Demerara are investigating a shooting incident, where a man who is separated from his wife allegedly tried to kidnap his children and fired several rounds in the air after he failed in his bid.
He was arrested by the police as investigations into that matter is ongoing.

Just too many guns on the streets, the Police along with the army and those in authority needs to stem this flow. By doing home raids and road blocks with out warning. Also fine the shipping companies or post office by way where some of these guns are reaching our land. Invest in the military marine fleet to patrol the rivers too.
