[www.inewsguyana.com] – Eight persons are now homeless, following a fire at their Recht- door-Zee home, Parfaite Harmonie West Bank Demerara on Wednesday night (October 16).
Reports indicate that the fire started in one of the bedrooms in the house during a power outage in the area. According to information received, the home owner, Lorna Robertson was in Georgetown when she received the unfortunate news.
iNews understands that three persons were at home during the time of the fire. The gutted house was built by Food for the Poor three years ago.
