[www.inewsguyana.com] – The police are investigating the death of a so far unidentified man of African descent which occurred at about 02:30h today Friday November 28, 2014, at Durban and Camp Streets, Georgetown.
Initial investigations have revealed that the victim and another man were involved in an argument during which he was stabbed to his abdomen.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital and the body is presently at the Lyken Funeral Parlour.
According to the Police, the deceased appears to be in his early twenties, dark complexion, and about 5’ 7” in height with his hair in plaits. The suspect is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
