[www.inewsguyana.com] – The body of man who is yet to be identified was found in a clump of bushes this afternoon (Tuesday, June 24), in the Le Repentir Cemetery.
When iNews arrived on the scene, investigators were already carrying out preliminary examinations.
The man of African descent was found in a sitting position, clothed in a black pants and a green jersey by a passerby who later notified police.
He reportedly has a tattoo with the letters ‘SM’ on his right hand. Unconfirmed reports are that the man may have committed suicide by drinking a poisonous substance.
His body bore no marks of violence. The body was taken to the Lyken Funeral home where further investigations will be carried out.
