Two men were earlier today remanded to prison for the murder of a Herstelling man in July this year during a robbery.
David Outar, 24 of 269 Foulis, East Coast Demerara and Patrick Ross, 27, of 107 First Street, Herstelling, East Bank Demerara were not required to plea to the charge which stated that on July 21, 2016 at Herstelling, East Bank Demerara, they murdered Terry Lackhan during the course of a robbery.
The duo were remanded to prison when they appeared this morning before Cheif Magistrate Ann McLennan at the Georgetown Magistrates Court. They are expected to reappear on October, 25, 2016.
The body of 55-year-old Lackhan, was discovered by a neighbour on the night of July 21, 2016, shortly after a male was reportedly seen exiting his Herstelling home with several bags. (Ramona Luthi)
