[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 21:00h on Sunday night November 24, two boats collided in the vicinity of Maritaro, Upper Demerara River.
Dale Duggin, 28 years, of Maritaro Village, who was the captain of one of the boats, and his passenger Williamson Felix received injuries to which they succumbed.
According to the police, Telford Lim, 33 years, of Malali, Upper Demerara River, and his two passengers Michael Edwards of Endeavour, Lower Demerara River, and Travis Gilkes of Malali have been rescued. Telford Lim is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
