Two Brazilians along with one Guyanese have been arrested in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo) following a raid by ranks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) where a quantity of marijuana was found.
INews understands that sometime yesterday the officers conducted a search on a house in St. Ignatius, Lethem, in Region Nine and during this exercise one (1) kilogram 610 grams of marijuana was unearthed.
In light of this, the three men were arrested and are presently in police custody and are said to be assisting with investigations.
