[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – four – year old Harry Persaud of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo is nursing gunshot wounds to his left hand and left thigh, after he was robbed yesterday, Friday, September 26 at Eccles, East Bank Demerara.
According to the police, at approximately 14:30 hrs, Persaud and a friend were in a vehicle, when they were attacked by two gunmen on a motor cycle.
Persaud was robbed of over $1.1 million. The men shot him and escaped, while Persaud has been admitted at the Georgetown Public Hospital. Investigations are in progress.
