(Trinidad Express) A man charged with unlawfully having sex with his 14-year-old daughter has been prohibited from having any contact with her, including through social media.
The 56-year-old unemployed man was charged by Cpl Sieupersad from the Child Protection Unit after a report was made to police on Tuesday.
The defendant, who was represented by attorney Ainsley Lucky, was placed on $50,000 bail.
He was granted $35,000 cash bail.
Deputy Chief Magistrate Nannette Forde-John told the man he is to have no phone contact with the alleged victim.
He is also banned from making contact through social media.
Forde-John also prohibited him from entering the premises where the child lives and ordered him to stay 500 metres away from her.
He is to return to court on September 23.
