(Trinidad Express) Did mechanic Randy Ramkissoon scarifice his own life to save his wife and three young children when an intruder entered their home on Saturday night?
Ramkissoon, 32, was watching television in his livingroom when the man entered at around 10.50pm, police were told.
His wife, Crystal, and three young children were asleep in a bedroom.
The 27-year-old woman told police that she was awaken by loud noises. She said her husband shouted out to lock the bedroom door.
Police said when the woman emerged her husband was lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
Ramkissoon, of Standard Road, Fyzabad, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was stabbed multiple times about the chest, back and head. Police are yet to determine a motive for the killing.
ASP Hunte and a team of officers from the South Western Division, crime scene investigators and homicide detectives visited the scene.
