A member of the Tactical Service Unit (TSU) was earlier this morning intercepted with 21kg of compressed cannabis at the Cove and John, Public Road, East Coast Demerara.
Based on reports received, the young man was the only occupant of the motor car which was stopped and searched by ranks of the TSU. They were reportedly acting on information received.
This Online Publication understands that at least ten well wrapped parcels were found in several section of the car including the back seat and in the trunk. The rank was arrested and is being grilled.
He is expected to make his court appearance shortly.
