[www.inewsguyana.com] – Trophy stall has contributed significantly to the Berbice Amateur Basketball Association’s (BABA) tournament in the ancient county.
The event, a collaborative effort of the BABA and the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club (RHTY&SC) will be for youngsters in the area.
Recently, the RHTY&SC donated a set of basketballs and other items to the BABA. Secretary/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the RHTY&SC Hilbert Foster, expressed pleasure with the strides that the body’s newly elected President Keith Myers and Secretary Petra Forde are making.
Managing Director of Trophy Stall Ramesh Sunich stated that he was willing to assist once the RHTY&SC had recommended BABA to him.
The Trophy Stall, Sunich proudly noted, is a major contributor to all sports in Guyana and he was proud to work along with the RHTY&SC to develop sports in Berbice.
The BABA through their Secretary, Forde said that they are pleased to have such spirited citizens on their trail and they will continue to forge ahead.
