[www.inewsguyana.com] – A Trinidadian murder accused who was caught in a hotel in Guyana on May 14, appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry to answer a charge of illegal entry.
Ralph Ramdhan also known as Vernon Rampersaud pleaded guilty to the charge which stated that between November 23, 2014 and May 14 2015, at Charity Essequibo, he entered Guyana illegally by sea and did not present himself to an immigration officer.
He was fined $30,000, or the alternative of two weeks in prison.
Fifty-year- old Ramdhan is currently wanted in Trinidad for a double homicide. He was nabbed yesterday in a city hotel after the police learnt about his whereabouts. Ramdhan will remain in the custody of the police until he is deported.
