[www.inewsguyana.com] – Twenty – eight – year old Dexter Dey was pronounced dead at the McKenzie Hospital after a tree fell on him during the high winds yesterday, Sunday July 06.
According to the Police, Dey – a miner – of Durban Street, Georgetown, was at Frenchman Backdam, Essequibo River, during a period of high winds, when a tree fell that struck him to his body.
He received injuries and was taken to the Mackenzie Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
