Guyanese now have an additional option to choose from as the company will be operating a wide body Boeing 767 aircraft on its direct New York/Georgetown route.
TravelSpan was granted approval by the Government of Guyana, through the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority and has signaled its intention to have two flights per week on the New York/Guyana route.
Round trip tickets between New York and Guyana cost US$647, while one way tickets are US$349 – both prices being tax inclusive. This spells good news for Guyanese travelers who have faced high airfares over the past few months.
The 18 year-old company, with head office based in the United States of America, is no stranger to the Guyanese market, having offered chartered flights before which was halted in 2008.
